Rip Current has launched!

Rip Current is the first of my comics to be published, through the incomparable Zeros 2 Heroes Media (Z2H). This comic was pitched to an online community of comic writers, artists and fans and voted to be one of twelve books published in 2008 as part of Canada: Comic Creation Nation. Thanks very much to Telefilm for funding this project.
Z2H is a fabulous place to workshop ideas with like-minded creators. I encourage writers and artists to check it out. Plus, be sure check out ALL the winning comics — there are 16 now (and more are currently in production). They look incredible and are very unique!
Here’s the original pitch I worked on for Rip Current, the one that ultimately won:
Traveller, another of my comics, is included in Manga Memoirs, Volume One. This true story follows my travels as well as those of a silkworm cocoon character given to me by a childhood friend.
Drama Boy, another of my comic script’s pitched at Z2H, looks at that rare breed, the guy in the drama club.
And more recently, I worked out a comic concept that I intended to be a stand-alone, only ever 22 pages. Night Swiming is a rough draft script, however there are solid bones here to build out a comic or even a short film.
